Gala Planning Committee
The National Child Protection Training Center (and our programs Jacob Wetterling Resource Center, Center for Effective Discipline and the National Association to Prevent Sexual Abuse of Children) will be hosting our second annual gala on November 3rd, at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Saint Paul!
This formal event will focus on the mission of NCPTC to end child abuse in three generations through education, training, awareness, prevention, advocacy and the pursuit of justice. We are planning to have presentations, a raffle, silent auction, dinner, entertainment and an honor for a distinguished individual for their commitment to ending child abuse.
Volunteers for the gala planning committee will need to be able to meet the third Tuesday of each month at 6 pm. If you would like to volunteer from a distance, you can join the committee by phoning in via conference call. However, we would prefer that local volunteers always meet at our office.
Our existing group is already a dedicated bunch of people who are passionate about keeping kids safe in an ever-changing world. Please join us for some fun and a worthwhile experience!
Proceeds from the Gala will support our current educational programs for child protection professionals, prevent education workshops, and victim assistance.
