JWRC Trek Fundraiser

Since 1994, one of JWRC’s cofounders, Jerry Wetterling, has hosted an annual wilderness hiking Trek to raise funds for JWRC’s mission-based work. Following this year’s Trek, the group was proud to announce their cumulative total since 1994 had reached $117,273! That means that more than 100,000 families have received JWRC’s educational materials made possible by the generosity and tenacity of the annual Trekkers.

This 9-day adventure is open to the public and usually has 10-15 adventurous Trekkers who enjoy backpacking and the breathtaking views and sunsets from the mountain peaks of Colorado. Though rugged in some respects, the camaraderie and food are usually the highlights. Both rookie and experienced hikers are welcome and must call to register in advance. Each Trekker pledges to raise a minimum of $300 in donations for JWRC, including fees for registration, food and transportation.

To register, please call Kara at St. Joseph Family Chiropractict at 320-363-4573 or email jlwchiro@mywdo.com. Join in the fun, the outdoor inspiration and the sense of satisfaction in helping JWRC provide the educational materials that can help prevent a child from going missing or from being exploited.
